Description
Turmeric Root is ideal for brewed tea and for pickling brines, adding rich, earthy flavor without cloudiness. It has a mildly sweet aroma and a warm, peppery, slightly bitter taste with ginger and nut-like undertones.
Directions
To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 2 tsp. cut and sifted turmeric root. Cover and steep 10-15 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
